During the rental process they offer you the typical additional car insurance.
With 300+ postings to your name I'd think you were a savvy enough traveler to realize that "cheapo" rental cars come with a downside. If you had bothered to search "Fox" in this forum or the larger California forum you would have found thousands of threads like this.

Appalling. I rented a car from Fox in San Fran airport (SFO) at the end of Sept 2010. Guess what - the car broke down, which wasn't surprising because it had 53000 miles on the clock. Unbelievable! I simply abandoned the car, grabbed an expensive taxi, then called Fox and told them where to collect their heap of junk.
Re: Best car rental at SFO. 10 years ago. In ANY location where i need to rent a car I use Hotwire. They have the best rates hands-down!!! I am actually in the process of booking a car at SFO through them for May. The rates are at least $10 less a day than any other place I've seen.
15 years ago. FOX rental website seems to indicate their car rental counter at SFO has now been relocated to inside the Car Rental Center however I'm unclear as to whether a shuttle is still required to pick up the car at a remote location. I know other major rental companies like Hertz, Avis, Budget, ... have their cars in the parking deck ...
