Target Store Maui-Kahului. Targets new lower groceries prices are great. Got boxes of fresh lettuce from Lani.!best good mayo for $5!less than Safeway. Small frozen veggies are .99 instead of $4. Loved seeing the best selection of anywhere Hawaiian Host Macadamia nut products (see photo) .
Target has a grocery department with some of their own brand of food products. There is a selection of wine, frozen food, dairy, soda, coffee,meat and small selection of produce. They have leis from $9.95 and up . The souvenir selection is good. Bring your own bag or pay around $2 each.

Oahu has one in Kapolei and another under construction In Kailua and one more eithe rin works or open in Central Oahu. Big Island has a nice big one in Kona and one coming in Hilo side. Report inappropriate content.
35 reviews. 43 helpful votes. 4. Re: Grocery shopping, Wal mart or Target. 6 years ago. I wouldn't bother going back to Kahului. Shop at Foodland, Safeway, or Times there in Kihei. Make sure you get the Mai Kai card at Foodland and the Safeway card. Both are free and will save you money.
2 reviews. 8. Re: Costco vs Target. 3 years ago. The problem with Costco is that you most likely will still have to go to a grocery store. We love going to Foodland or Times Market. Feels more unique to island and a better experience. Costco makes me feel like I’m still at home.

Kahoʻolawe in the foreground, Maui behind it, Mount Haleakala surrounded in clouds. Kahoʻolawe is an extinct shield volcano, which formed during the Pleistocene epoch. It was once connected to the island of Maui Nui before splitting off about 300,000 years ago. Most of the island is covered by basaltic lava flows.
