The package we purchased included the Wailea Ekhai. That’s a property that has low rise townhouse style buildings .no elevators, hallways etc. four pools with beach access. Costco package is about $500 cheaper PLUS Costco gives you a credit to use of about $200. Also when we do Costco for car rental it is about $100 cheaper than booking direct with car companies.
Re: Hotel choices in a package deal. Mar 30, 2024, 6:46 PM. I found very few dates in August-Sept at Napili Kai where an Ocean View studio is available. One I found is Sept 2-9 for $3976 with a $129 Costco GC, $150 dining credit, and rental car. The same room directly from NK is $4068 without the car and other credits.
Dining options in the area with GF menu items & a unit with a kitchen should work well for us. Costco options with package deal for flights from NC, car rental & 8 nights of lodging this July include Kaanapali Alii & Aston Mahana Kaanapali. Reviews for both are fairly strong but Mahana has recent negative ones due to construction.

I just booked a package for the first time in a long time I usually book pieces individually but the Costco package was $200 cheaper and it saved me not using $200 worth of miles so a net savings of $400. 8. Re: Costco travel packages. I never, ever and I mean ever book packages. I usually find I can do better on my own, but then about 8 years ago a neighbor of mine in Coronado put me on to a Costco deal for the Hyatt Regency Maui that was airfare, hotel and a car, breakfast for two everyday and a resort credit.
