12 years ago. I joined Hertz Gold Club earlier this year while they were offering it free of charge, and made a booking for a car for my holiday last 2 weeks of April. Upon arrival at MCO I switched on my mobile and received an E-mail from Hertz stating which car I had been allocated and in which bay it was located.
5. Re: Hertz Gold membership question. 6 years ago. No, you need to have the GR number on the reservation to qualify for the service, which basically means they pre- allocate a car to you which you can just go to the garage and drive off in, depending on the location arrangements.
For a limited period Hertz are offering free membership to its gold reward programme, it normally costs $60. There are a number of advantages you can gain from this including no queueing at the counter, car assigned before you arrive waiting in a bay for you and no additional driver fees for spouse or civil partners.

You look at the board, find your name that has your parking spot number, find your car, then head for the exit. You hand the security person your DL and the documentation hanging from your mirror ...
Hertz has another program that's free, but I can't remember what it's called right now.My husband signed up for it before we went to Maui and it worked out great. We were on a separate line and only had one person in front of us, while the other line had about 20 people waiting. Just go to the Hertz website and check it out.
12 years ago. Save. I rented a mid size SUV at Phoenix Sky for $13.00 per day in my husbands name through Priceline. I then signed up for Hertz Gold through AAA in my husbands name. I just called Hertz and because we used Priceline, we are not able to use the Hertz Gold perks like adding a second driver (myself) or skipping the rental line.

Answer 1 of 4: It's free but give your personal information (drive license #, birthday etc) in order to sign the membership for this trip? I am not sure its' worth.
