I haven't seen a live video update that was less than 3 hours old. It was MIke Theiss's Twitter feed as the eyewall was coming past. Folks still hunkered down are being resourceful.

We were standing in the USS Maine plot, directly underneath the flag, when we started hearing the faint strains of the national anthem.

A Live Trip Report. Oct 31, 2023, 6:57 AM. it's been a long, hectic, sad, exhilarating 18 months since my epic 3-week retirement trip back in April 2022. Hectic equals 10 weddings (and associated showers, engagement parties, etc.) in 14 months, including a lot of travel. Exhilarating equals my niece's wedding where I was the officiant.
