Attempted to call Hertz customer service for assistance ….. not one phone number worked. Eventually got thru to Reservations whereupon the person hung up on me when I explained my issue. Left a voicemail with Heathrow location but they never bothered to call me back. I will never rent from Hertz again.
We again contacted Hertz via email, adding to our questions whether in shifting the location Hertz would honour their contract with us (as it seems we have no option but to shift location), and to ask for the operating hours of the Reservation Department or for an email address (as we're in Australia so timezones complicate matters).
Had I booked the car separately at Hertz, I would have my 3 weeks reimbursed, minus a small cancellation fee. I was not provided with that information prior to the booking! Hertz Cutomer support (or lack off) was not caring about my customer support! As a former Hertz Gold Customer, I have booked my last Hertz car. Going to AVIS!
