For my Istanbulkart + 300 TRY top-up, which is 370 in cash, the total I paid was 384 when paying with a card. You just need to know that not all machines take credit cards.
5 years ago. I just learned of Clickbus, a website on which one can purchase a bus ticket within Mexico on-line from the US using a US credit card. You can get English translations of the site, and print out the ticket before you leave for Mexico. (I prefer ADO as the best and most reliable first-class bus, but there are others, of course.)
