   The first thing that struck me was that the $25 promotion for first-time users was not honored no matter how hard I tried. An hour after I made my reservation the car owner called to inform me he sold his car , and Turo has neglected to remove his listing from their website.

   Nitro is correct. As Turo is just random people's cars they probably will want you to pick up at the airport itself. You might be better off arranging the return drop off (from whichever company you use) at your hotel or one near it.    We recently had our first experience with Turo, and it turned out to be the worst car rental experience ever. I personally will not return to Turo anymore, and definitely will not recommend people using it either, because compared to using regular car rental business, renting a car from Turo requires you to be extra cautious, so as not to fall into all kinds of hidden traps.
