However, you're closer to the natural scenery on a 2-lane road than you are on the Interstate. Also, if you cross an interesting bridge at 80 mph, you barely notice.
7 years ago. While traveling from Washington to Fairfax, Virginia around 8 pm on weekday, the google maps took us on I-66 HOV roads. We were 3 people in car so I thought we were good to travel on that road. Also it was around 8pm ( non rush hours). However, after using that road 1-2 miles I realized that it was all ez pass lanes only.
