If you're really going to be carrying 7 people, a minivan like a Toyota Siena or Honda Odyssey is going to be a much more pleasant experience. More luggage space, as well. No street cred, but it is just a rental car.

   As a former rental car employee, everything you said you need to fit should fit in a standard SUV. Each fleet is different but Chevy and Jeep tend to be the most acomodating to rental companies and that is why you see more of those vehicles in rental fleets. The airport locations get the nicest and newest cars.

On the Costco email confirmation you'll have the alamo confirmation number as well. You can look up your confirmation on alamo and put in DL, etc. so you can skip the counter.
