The National Railroad Museum ( reporting mark NRMX) [2] is a railroad museum located in Ashwaubenon, Wisconsin, US. Founded in 1956 by community volunteers, the National Railroad Museum is one of the oldest and largest U.S. institutions dedicated to preserving and interpreting the nation's railroad [3] history.
Facilities are first class. Some unusual engines and cars including D. Eisenhower’s command train from WWII, General Motors engine and cars from the 1950’s and the UP Big Boy 4017. Train excursion last 30 or so minutes, circular around the grounds. For only $2.00 on our senior tickets total price was $11.00.

The Railroad Memories Museum is housed in what remains of the Spooner Chicago and Northwestern Depot. At one time this station was 13 rooms including a restaurant, plus a roundhouse on the other side of the right-of-way. 22 trains per day came through here.
