We made reservations to tour Snyder's of Hanover where they make pretzels and tortilla chips. Our guide was very knowledgeable about the factory and process of making their snacks. We saw two lines of pretzels being made. At the end of the tour, we were each given some free samples. The tour starts and ends in their factory store.
There is a free tour of this facility but it must be reserved at least 24 hours in advance. We did not do that intentionally and just swung by for the factory outlet store. It is snacks galore. Any snyder product you can think of at a great price. They even had bags of used pretzel salt that can be used for snow for a cheap price.

Most are priced from $0.50 to $2, but as low as a dime. Variety is second to none. They have unique products that are only available at the Outlet store. Samples of their products are available. You have to buy a soft pretzel or pretzel twist. Wish this Store was in Tennessee, it would be my go to store for snacks.

We saw the potatoes come in and become potato chips. The tour ends at the factory store where we are given a snack bag of peanut butter pretzel sandwich and a snack bag of regular pretzels. The factory store has lots of good prices on pretzels and chips, so we stocked up before leaving. Overall, we like the taste of the prezels from Snyder's.
