I rented from Fox at the Phoenix airport in January. I used Costco Travel, the savings was significant. I was in line for about an hour. The line was long. All the other car rental companies were empty. It really became a joke as some of us were getting friendly, comparing how much time we had to spend in this line.
9. Re: Fox rent a car. 10 years ago. I strongly and urgently recommend that you do NOT rent from Fox Rent a Car !!! My wife and I (and 30 other customers) had a terrible experience while picking up our "reserved" car at Denver Intl. Airport on September 6, 2013: they didn't have any cars !!

Technology is such that direct links from rental companies are imbedded in OTA, airline & other rental booking channels so you don’t book a rental car when a location is closed.
Answer 691 of 1,027: Has anyone ever used Fox rent a car? I'm heading to California in a few months and need a car. The price difference in cars between Fox and more well known companies is $150. Seems almost too good to be true!
Don't rent cars from rip-off, lowest price companies. Stay with the big guys, Hertz, Avis, Enterprise etc. Stay with the big guys, Hertz, Avis, Enterprise etc. Again, DO NOT use price as a criteria when selecting a car rental company just as you would not use price when selecting a restaurant.
Re: Fox rent a car. 7 years ago. DO NOT USE! Iused for the first time in December.We travel quite often. I cancelled my original resv and booked a new one. I received the cancellation Number and a better price ( $255.10 savings). When I got to the counter in Phoenix at 1am there was a long line up with only one rep.
I don’t know if she is right, but it took 3 mins to hire a car from that budget car company - 2018 full size suv for a great price. So, thanks fox for being crap (except the 2 really helpful girls at the SFO desk) and stay away from them.
Re: fox rent a car - good/ bad. 11 years ago. I rented a car from Fox in Tampa back in April 2013. They were off site and a bit inconvenient, but I knew this ahead of time. Shuttle arrived within 15 minutes as advertised. We had reserved a standard size, but the ad and reservation we made showed a charger.
