Re: National Car Rental - Can I pick a car? Yes, if you belong to the emerald club, you can pick a car from the minivan aisle if that is what you rented. If you take something from another aisle, you get charged for that vehicle. They are not usually nice about it.
14 years ago. Has anyone rented from National and experienced the Emerald Aisle selection during peek summer months? I have noticed the aisle is generally the cars that aren't renting at most locations. This leads me to believe the aisle might be nothing but sporty two doors or other impractical rides during peek travel months in sunny Orlando.
Answer 1 of 4: For those who have used the Emerald Aisle through National at MCO, do you usually see minivans available? It is cheaper to rent Emerald Aisle than a minivan directly so would prefer Emerald Aisle if we can probably pick a minivan.
National, Alamo, and Enterprise (at airport locations) function the same and use the same exit booth. Enterprise is different about how they give you the car. You can sign up for the emerald club which you rent a mid size and can take whatever they have in that aisle.
