First things first, as with other aspects of arriving in Aruba on a Sunday, our experience with the rental car portion of our vacation was wonderful. Unfortunately, Hertz didn't communicate with me other than to say my rental car reservation was ready. Here are the specific major problems we had Saturday, April 6th, 2024. 1. No one answered the phone at the location, even after 5-6 calls. 2. I was supposed to be able to go directly to my rental car.
GREAT SERVICE. When I checked in and saw the car I had reserved, it was just too small. They got me a bigger car and advised me that Hertz had lowered pricing that day and cancelled my reservation and made a new one at $50/day lower for a larger vehicle. Date of travel: July 2021. Location cleanliness.

I closed the deal on the internet for $750. The rental agent charged me $1,250 for a subpar car. Uploaded a photo to prove it. Hertz cheated me! I will never rent a car from Hertz again. Additionally, the so-called Gold Membership only seems to result in paying more. I felt deceived and harmed.
