    The Natchez is a lovely leisurely ride towards the gulf and back. We really enjoy just being on the river, especially if it's a really nice day. The Creole Queen stops at Chalmette Battlefield (where the Battle of New Orleans took place). Ironically, the battlefield is a very nice peaceful park setting. You can watch a short video of the battle.
