We liked the Hilton. The Holiday Inn express was getting rave reviews from people we talked to. If you opt not to stay the night the Port parking is safe. I wouldn't worry about the rental car there. Since it does not open till 9:00 A.M. does it make sense to rent late the day before and then return the next afternoon.?
