Answer 1 of 4: Hi there, I stay in Toronto city and was looking to rent a car through enterprise. The location at the airport seems to be offering the best rates compared to other locations inside the city.
Can anyone please tell us if Enterprise car rental is a good and reliable company in Toronto. Wanting a car for 2 days to drive to NF and back. Seems renting a car for the 3 of us is less expensive than taking the recommended Toronto-NF transportation. And is there a problem with companies if we want to drive into the US from Canada at Niagara.
Pearson is a little chaotic at present because of rebuilding, but seems to work ok if you follow signs and instructions. 5. Re: Returning rental vehicle at Toronto airport. Some are in-terminal, some are off-terminal, depends on which rental company. Hertz and Avis are always in-terminal, including the car lot.
Stick to one of the larger, brand-name companies, such as ~ Avis, Budget, Enterprise, Hertz, etc. Many people have posted on the Toronto forum after using "a cheap car rental company" of many problems IE: dirty cars, unsafe vehicles, not being reimbursed for mechanical repairs, added charges over the price quoted, etc, etc, etc. Best Regards
Personally I only rent from Hertz, Avis and Enterprise. The few times I had cars from Advantage, they were provided as courtesy cars by car dealers not located near airport, and they were fine. Just keep in mind, any individually-owned locations of ANY car rental agencies are going to be nasty.
