2. Re: Enterprise rental nearest San Diego airport. 1 year ago. Taxi from SAN will be less than Rideshare. You can check rates when you land but taxi will be around $15 before tip. I always check when I land, I live in the area and for the last year or two landing probably 50 times taxi has been less. Rideshare is usually anywhere from $23-$75.
I have a reservation with Enterprise this weekend at SAN. Anyone had any bad experiences with this location that may suggest I go somewhere else. Their rates are great and they offer the GPS I need. I guess they don't have a counter inside...
6. Re: Best Car Rental at San (San Diego Airport. 9 years ago. Hertz and Avis are a step above any of the others and are consistently rated that way. As mentioned above join Hertz Gold and Avis preferred to skip having to speak with anyone other than the guard at the exit.
Answer 1 of 8: Hello! The difference in prices are pretty significant for a car rental in late July, about $200 more at the airport. I at rental locations around San Diego from Enterprise, Alamo, etc. and trying to budget what makes the most sense.
