I wish you safe travels. As I stayed stateside with my reservation, I can only recommend the site if you plan on traveling within the US and don't plan on making adjustments to your travel schedule. They did not honor the contract so we contacted Florida Dept. of Agricultural and Consumer Services (850-410-3764), Seniors versus Crime (352-249-9139), Federal Trade Commission (877-382-4357) and the Better Business Bureau. It took almost 2 months but we did get a full refund.
Legit but awful. Not a scam. Just a dreadful site, best avoided. If people don’t look at the website address carefully after googling a hotel name they somehow believe they are booking direct with the hotel, but it’s a third-party booking site, with restrictive Terms and Conditions and hefty fees tacked on.
Here is my experience: WARNING: Vio.com are scammers. In addition to stealing your money via fraudulent travel practices, they will spend a huge amount of time and effort trying to remove legitimate reviews from this and other sites, in order to hide their fraudulent behavior. I booked a room with them in Cancun.

I was trying to book Hilton Waikoloa Village for thanksgiving night and everywhere the nightly rates were around $780-$800 plus taxes and fees. This one website shows me the rate of $170 and with taxes and resort fees came up to $220.

7 years ago. This company isn't reliable. I booked through them considering they were offering me a great price only to receive an email later saying the ticket can't be issued. And Alas, by that time the ticket prices on all other sites were twice the original price. There was no cooperation by anyone on their side.
