Gorgeous gardens, greenhouses and grounds. Very easy to get lost (figuratively) in the 250 acres and the 28 speciality gardens including a conservatory, children's adventure garden and a 40 acre old growth forest. It is one of the premier botanical gardens in the US.
Beautiful Respite. The New York Botanical Garden is a stunning respite in the midst of a chaotic city. The membership is well worth it as you can not only go there any day, but it's tax deductible. The well-kept grounds are beautiful and accessible for a short walk, a day of exploring, or a hike on the trails.
