Re: Grocery Store around Airport or San Jose. 13 years ago. Yes, the grocery store is Mas X Menos in the Int'l Mall. I believe they close at midnight all evenings except Sunday (9 pm). They sell a wide variety of products (produce, dairy, meats, just as you would expect in a full service supermas) and including wine/beer/spirits/ice.

1. Santana Row. There are some great restaurants and shops to browse and have a sit meal with family and friends. 2. San Pedro Square Market. Nice setting, good choice of food vendors. 3. San Jose Flea Market. This is an amazing flea market, even if you don't buy anything, there is entertainment, the food is excellent.
Here is the interesting news. I found out that Mega is owned by Comercial Mexicana, the largest supermarket chain in Mexico (I think). The company has established a website where you can buy groceries online and have them delivered to your home/condo/hotel. The service looks good. Big selection of items.

Pretty quiet for being right on El Camino. Close to decent restaurants and Santa Clara Univ. 1440 N 1st St I-880, 1st Street Exit, San Jose, CA 95112-4818. I have been to the San Jose Inn now for some time. The rooms are clean yet simple, no frills. The room service/ cleaning crew is good. It is close to the airport.
