   I would consider Priceline for a big discount, but not just to save a few bucks. I ended up booking direct with Alamo car rental . However time pressures sometimes means it’s easier to see the sort of prices on offer on an aggregator site rather than traveling through each supplier individually. I’ve learned a lesson though.    Re: Using priceline service of 24 hrs cancellation. 24 hr free cancellation in the USA (providing you book at least 7 days prior to departure) is a legal requirement if you book direct with the airline, but not if you book via third party. Priceline do offer a 24hr free cancellation policy though. 14.
