I have recently switched to Clear Care, a hydrogen peroxide based contact lens solution, due to my eye care professional's recommendation. 1. Re: Is Clear Care contact solution available in Germany? 2 years ago. It's for contact lenses? I think it is a 50:50 chance regarding the exact product. But if you go to an optometrist's shop (those adapting and selling true glasses and such stuff) and say what you need, I'm 100% sure you get exactly what you need.

Janey if I was having my contact lens cleaner confiscated 50% of the time I would definitely be speaking to my eye care provider about using a different cleaning solution or using disposable lenses when you travel. There are many options to avoid this problem. Of course it may be that you enjoy the notoriety of having your solution confiscated?

Re: Taking Contact Lens Solution in Hold Luggage. 10 years ago. I use the solution with peroxide, as well. It is marketed as "Clear Care" brand name here in the states. They do sell a travel size of 3 oz and I put it in my 3-1-1 bag. I refill the travel size bottle with my larger bottle at home. I've had no issues.
