I once left YVR 5 hours late, arriving at OGG even later than 1:30 a.m. The rental car agencies were open, and the shuttles were running. I was with Alamo that particular trip. But the major agencies should be there. Advantage was not! One poor woman was planning on staying at the airport until they opened. Not sure how that ended.

7135 Gillespie is the airport rental area. Don’t be fooled. They do not guarantee a specific type of car. You may not get a Ford Escape - usually it is “or similar.” As Rusty points out if you are not from the US your experience could be very different from most of the responders here. You should clarify.

Harry Reid Airport. Aug 3, 2024, 9:14 PM. Just returned from my fifth trip to Vegas this year. Can someone, please explain to me, why the Harry Reid airport is such a filthy mess? At least the D gates are. I have flown through Miami, New York, and several other airports. No other airport is as dirty as the Harry Reid.
