Steamboat is scheduled to close on the 10th of April. Here is a list of Colo ski areas and their scheduled closing dates. Take in mind, that if this is a really light snow year, some of these places may close earlier than the given date. I'm still hopeful that the rest of the winter will average out with snowfall.

Copper is actually fun early season and will have probably the most variety of terrain open at that time. Plus they have lots of fast lifts that can help spread out the crowds. Since they joined the Ikon pass, I found myself skiing there early and late season quite a few times. Whatever you do, make sure everything is refundable.
If you choose the Chamonix pass, you get all the areas listed as included w/ the IKON pass, plus 3 euros for the badge. Or you can upgrade for the Mont Blanc Unlimited for 63 euros, which lets you go up the Aiguille du Midi cable car, use the Montenvers train to see the Mer de Glace, and ski at Courmayeur, among other things.
1 year ago. I got an email from Steamboat Ski Resort that the "Final Day to Buy (IKON Pass for 2022-23 season) is December 8". In the past, we have used various multi-day passes at Steamboat that were variously called Olympian Pass, Mid-Winter Pass, etc. which worked well for our needs. We were able to buy them a few weeks before the trip.
