10. Re: Google maps street view. 12 years ago. The nice thing about Google Street View for Paris is that the images are of excellent quality and recent—which is not true for many other cities. You can tour the city with Street View, if visiting for real just doesn't fit in the budget for the moment. Edited: 12 years ago.

In North America, Google Street View is available in Canada, the United States, Mexico, Guatemala, Dominican Republic, Greenland, and limited coverage in some more areas.
Google maps now has a feature whereby you can view locations down to street level. You can move along a street/lane/track and do 360 degree turns. Apparantly it's been about for a while for parts of the US, but New Zealand was only added in Dec 2008.
