This newly restored historic home (built @ 1850 and renovated @2014) is one of few remaining homes common in style in the area between 1850 to 1910. Built by descendants of Revolutionary War soldier and Methodist pastor, Jeremiah Mundy, it was owned by the Mundy family until the 1990's. The Mundy's were farmers who grew cotton, oats and barley.
Cross Country Campground. Clean, well-kept campground. Nice mixture of permanent trailers,and visitors. Nice paved road for kids to ride bike and for walking. Beautiful pool. We found it to be quiet and peaceful. Staff very nice and welcoming. Major town only 20 minute drive down the highway. Date of stay: June 2019.
