2 reviews. no confirmation email from expedia. 12 years ago. I booked a flight to Asia online with Expedia on Oct. 1st. I did not receive a single email from Expedia regarding this booking, no confirmation, no itenerary, nothing. (not in my junk mail either) and my bank account did not show any money going through.
Save. You should receive 2 emails for your booking from Expedia. I have never received anything directly from the airlines when booking Expedia. If you go to Expedia, sign in, click 'My Trips' at the top, it will show you your booked flights with confirmation numbers. Use the confirmation numbers on the airline sites to choose your seats.
Upon payment, I immediately received a confirmation e-mail from Expedia with a Confirmation Number (6 characters) and an Itinerary Number (13 digits). However, the email also said "Your e-ticket is not yet confirmed." Additionally, when I enter either of the two above numbers on the airline's website along with my name, it says no itinerary ...

I googled the expedia customer support centre contact (UK) and got a number which I called, as there was a queue the bot offered to call me back, which they did, I had to wait but got through to very helpful guy who put me through to the refund sections and after half an hour they had the details and confirmed we would get a full refund.
I have recently booked a flight and hotel package with Expedia (UK). They sent through a "Travel Confirmation" email which states: "Purchased and awaiting confirmation from the airline that the tickets are available at this price. We have sent your purchase request to the airline. Please check back in 2 to 24 hours for confirmation.
Completely normal so far. (3) I called the number provided (+852 3077 5711), and after going through many menu options I got the “all out agents are busy” response and was asked to leave a message. (4) Two hours later an agent returned my call from Phoenix, AZ (+14802708191).
