The next day we will travel through the East side of YNP and spend the next 2 evenings in the Grand Tetons National Park (reservation is in place). Following day will be spent in GTNP and Jacksonville area. Next day we will finish up on GTNP and then back north into Yellowstone staying at a lodge in the Old Faithful area for 2 nights.

That gives you essentially 8 touring days and you might need to reposition on Day 9 for your flight out on Day 10. For Yellowstone I suggest at least 4 nights/3 full days and for Grand Tetons 2 or 3 nights for 1 or 2 days. It's a full days' drive between Yellowstone and Glacier so a lot of windshield time.
Dan has a good plan but will tell you that you are looking at a long, long driving day from Grand Tetons back to the Denver airport. It is like 10 hours! You can skip Cody if not into the rodeo or Buffalo Bill museums and add a day in Yellowstone. Yellowstone itself is huge and travel is super slow.

1 review. 3. Re: 10 days in Yellowstone, Grand Teton and Glacier. 3 years ago. You need 2 travel days (or more depending on what city you fly into) and 4 nights in YNP (split between 2 in Gardiner/Mammoth and 2 in West Yellowstone or Canyon/Lake/OF area). Then you need 2 nights in GTNP.
