    Still hanging on in the middle of the general decline. The Target store is still a good place to shop and the multiplex theater is a good place to see a show. There is a food court with locally-based restaurants. This downtown mall is well-placed when San Francisco revives as people come back to work.

    my personal favorite, i dub the mother ship: the main goodwill store at south van ness and mission. remember to bring your own shopping bags or else it's 10 cents per bag. <<Salvation Army Store on Valencia and 26th>> i find their prices to be much higher than goodwill. both chains have specials. it could be senior citizen day, orange tag day, after 6pm it's half off sale. perhaps you'd like ...

    It was our first time in San Francisco and we took cable car from Downtown. The ride down the last steep hill - Hyde Street was amazing. When we arrived we walked mainly along Jefferson Street where are various restaurants, Maritime National Historical Park Visitor Center was worth to visit as well as a few gift shops and, of course, sea lions.
