4. Re: Buying tickets from.ebay. 6 years ago. To change the passenger name on air tickets costs money so you could be out of pocket very quickly. I would have thought, as suggested, it may not even be legal. Go straight to the airline to buy tickets and then you have security with them that all is legit.
