How safe is Kuala Lumpur?I'm a 20+ Chinese Singaporean and I'll be visiting as a solo traveller before flying to Bangkok in February 2020. I've visited Penang back in 2017 and it was fine though there was once I felt I was going to get mugged as a group of men came up the overhead bridge as I was taking my photos alone.

Your large bags will be stored in the luggage compartment on the side of the bus. Small hand luggage, put a travel lock on. Nothing beyond normal travel precautions for any country.
