    American cell phone use in Ireland. 4 years ago. Just finished a 2 week trip to Ireland (August 2019) and want to share my cell phone experience. I know there are options, but I chose to use my American cell phone (Verizon) in Ireland and pay the $10 a day. It worked flawlessly, and I used GPS constantly to navigate.
