I have made 7 calls to Expedia talked to 7 customer service agents and 4 supervisors. I have been disconnected 3 times after waiting on line for up to 40 minutes. I have had my best success with e-mails. In the subject line use the numbers/ letters of your itinerary followed by "Inquiry#1" then follow that up next day with the same thing followed by Inquiry#2, etc. , etc. . In the body of the e-mail, again start by referencing the itinerary number followed by names, followed by your specific requests.
Expedia is an online site and so isn't set up for a lot of phone support. It may be difficult to get them on the phone. I use them regularly but have never tried to call them and I don't see an obvious customer support phone# on their website.
Write a one page letter if possible; include the travel dates, flight numbers, ticket numbers (12 digits, they'll start with 125-) and names of your daughter and her fiance as on the tickets. Mention that you have tried to contact expedia.com and have been unsuccessful X times and have had little success in obtaining a result.
8. Re: Expedia Customer Service. 11 years ago. We had issues with their customer service as well via phone and email. They put my bf on hold for over 50 minutes then called again and was in hold 40 min. Finally we complained on twitter, posted the call log for anyone to see and tagged (@expedia) them.
