For a fifteen day rental, I'm finding Dollar is better price than any of the others I consider major. But I'm kind of nervous about dollar, thrifty, budget, and others I've never used. I normally use Enterprise and have had good experiences with them...but they seem so high this time, in comparison to all the others.

So you signed for something (even though declined) yet suggest go with a better company 🤔.
Then there are extortionate airport service fees and other miscellaneous charges totalling another $160. To cap it all, the whole lot is taxed for another $50. In total, our $480 rental became $899. Absolutely unbelievable - never had anything like that in all the hundreds of cars I've rented around the world.
Reviewed April 23, 2021. Whatever you do, do not rent from Dollar Car Rental!! They have the worst customer service I have ever seen from a company in my life. You are much better taking ubers or public transport. First, we had to wait 2 and a half hours after our reservation time in order to get our vehicle that was RESERVED.
Dollar had the lowest prices, so it had the longest lines, but all places had long lines. After a 5-hr flight, I had to take a shuttle 3-4 stops (20 mins) to get to the rental car building, then wait in line 2 hours (not kidding) to get through a Disney-like snaking line to get to the counter.
