If you are coming into Melbourne you will get a trolley(s) from baggage reclaim to transport your luggage to Avis. It is not very far from the Terminal- a two minute walk. When dropping off, you can drop off your passengers and luggage out the front of the terminal building, then do a loop back to drop the car off.
