    VN does observe New Year, but that only affects schools and public offices. Everything else is business as usual, mostly. A few (very few) businesses may decide to close up for the day, but the tourists will hardly notice anything. If anything, tourist attractions, restaurants, shops, etc. simply get busier. John.
