Re: Any really detailed road maps for Northern California? 11 years ago. For folding paper maps, AAA has some very good ones. The Thomas Guide mentioned above has a California Road Atlas that is very detailed for all of Calif but it's in the form of a paperback book, 8½" x 11" x about 1".
