We booked our wedding with Destination Las Vegas/ Wedding Chapel in the Sky 8 months in advance. I confirmed the details multiple times leading to the wedding. 3 hours before the wedding, they called to say we couldn’t use the High Roller Ferris Wheel due to high winds and we should do it front of the Bellagio Fountains.

It's the only reason to do the wheel IMO as the view of the strip I found to be pretty limiting. But the Sphere is pretty much in full view for 90% of the rotation.

We rode it just before midnight and there was no line at all. Rode the very next pod and we were like 11 people in it.
