    As I said in the other post you may be better off going elsewhere. However: Truro is a commercial centre but has wonderful Victoria Park and if the times are right you could see the Tidal Bore. (See the Bay of Fundy link in your other post.) Antigonish would get you closer to Cape Breton. It is a lovely university town.
