I'm struggling to find a clear answer, we have booked our rental car with Alamo and paid via debit card the sum of £413. On pick up I'm assuming there will be a credit card deposit. does anyone know how much this deposit will be.
To cut a long story short the guy told me I can't complete online check-in because I've booked through a third party and I haven't given Alamo credit card details. And I told him I had completed online check-in and had a confirmation in front of me. He repeated. I repeated. And again. Twice. He eventually said, okay, just go to the parking lot.
Answer 11 of 20: Hi All I have entered my driver/credit card details into the Alamo save time system. Then checked in online and received a confirmation email from Alamo with paperwork that has the barcode at the top.
Just tried online check in with Alamo and it wont let me :( Has anyone from the UK ever done this? or do you have to have a US driving license?
