Just go to Google.com, select "maps" and enter the address of the BWI car rental facility: 7416 New Ridge Road. Hanover, MD. When that comes up just enter "gas station" in the "search nearby" box and you'll see all the stations in the area.

New Ridge Road is off of Rte 170. Rte 170 runs north/south and intersects with I-195, the main drag in and out of the airport.

The gas station was a Shell, and the address is 1356 Dorsey Rd, Hanover, MD. They had reasonable prices, and as I've already mentioned, are very convenient to the rental car facility. Free shuttle buses from this station to the BWI Airport terminals operate daily every 6-8 minutes (every 25 minutes 1:00 am - 5:00 am). Buses stop adjacent to the rail station garage directly across from the station building. Reply.

You could get lost quite a bit trying to find DCA and still spend less time than it would take to get to Dulles. Both sites are pretty well marked and as long as you can read the signs getting in and out is easy.
