The bill needed paying so I went on line and keyed in the Plate Pass web site. Entered my Hertz rental agreement number and proceeded to pay the $19.50 by my Visa card, here comes the "con", right at the end of the process the dollar sign changed to a pound sign - I was about to be charged £19.50 not $19.50.

What I don’t like about Hertz, they charge you each and every day of the rental, even if you never go through another toll. The max is $24 or so, but it’s just flat out wrong.

2. Re: Hertz sending me a speed violation bill without evidence. 12 years ago. I agree. Calgary's photo radar tickets give you all the info you're requesting, plus a photo of the car, taken at the time of the offence. It's two pages, shouldn't be any problem supplying you with copies.

5. Re: Toll charge payment for rental car. From my experience, Hertz takes around a week to process the toll charges, which are then compiled and charged to the same card you used for the rental. The toll tag is included in the rental rate, so the additional charge is just for the actual toll charges accrued + 25% VAT.
