    We used Costco to travel to London last year and it was very good, a good value. Not so much in Italy. We are planning a trip in early October - 4 days in Rome, 4 days in Florence. I'm figuring $200/night looks about right as a base rate. The good part of Costco is convenience and they do stand behind their services.

We booked with Costco travel. 5 nights in Sorrento at Grand Hotel Favorita also includes Towns of the Amalfi Coast – Private Full-Day Tour, 6 nights in Rome at Starhotels Metropole and 5 night in Venice at Papadopoli Venezia. They make it easier with transfers from and to the airports in at Naples out at Venice.

    As I had mentioned, we did take the package. And we finished our trip in July. We stayed in hotels from the package. They were are all Starwood hotels. But let me tell you, we were thrilled. They do a lot of groundwork, send their agents to hotels, and check out everything on site. Their train reservations were flawless, no discrepancies.

    Re: Costsaver tours. 1 year ago. Before you book, check distances between overnight Hotels. You can spend a lot of your vacation time on the bus, depending on itinerary. I only travel (3 times) with Trafalgar. Decent company, at least they were before pandemic. Only difference will be Hotels (location, category)
