    Thanks to all the contributors. It seems I've lost my credit as other contributors have mentioned Lebara deactivates the account after 8 weeks of non-use and its irreversible. Can anyone confirm if I can contact Lebara UK by email to verify? From the tone and content of the posts to date, I doubt it. Regards Sally

    I purchased a Lebara SIM at Sydney airport which supposedly included a £10 credit for the UK. I also purchased an EE SIM for my iPad at the same time. This has worked brilliantly in the UK, but be warned as you move into the Irish Republic things are not so good. The Lebara SIM has given us problems ever since we have arrived in the UK.

    6. Re: Don't buy a Lebara SIM card in the Netherlands. I just did a dummy contract and you have to pay an administrative fee + the first month by Ideal, after that they'll use "automatische incasso". You must've used a Dutch bank account for payment, and they'll take the money out monthly.

    I have been a Lebara customer for more than 6 months now in the UK. I ordered a sim card from the Lebara UK website for my wife last week. On receiving the sim I tried to top-up the sim but it failed 3 times a total of £25 was charged to my card. I called customer care on 0870 075 5588 to discuss my issue.
