1. Re: Which grocery store would you recommend in Sevierville ? 5 years ago. I like Food City, Publix, Kroger, Aldi and Walmart. The best one is probably Publix. It's also the newest. If you go to Kroger or Food City make sure you get their discount card to save some money.
I fourth it. Be sure to get the discount card. For a tourist area the prices are not all that bad. Some are actually the same as at home. They have a really good stock of just about anything.
Thier is also a new grocery store in Gatlinburg called Save-A-Lot which has good prices. It is near the entrance to the Arts and Crafts Community. If you really want to same some money on munchies and stuff go to the Big-Lots in Sevierville!

We have booked a condo in Gatlinburg for 1 week (the last week of May) and wondered where the best place is to shop for groceries. We understand that Food City is big there but that the only way you can get their shopper discount card is on line, which takes 4 weeks.

They also have a very good hot food bar where you can get family packs or dinners to go. They have pizza and deli sandwiches as well.

There is also a Food City on the parkway in Pigeon Forge and there is also one in Gatlinburg. That is the only one in Gatlinburg.
