it is +45 and then XXXX XXXX. so i think maybe there is some local code. for sure there is no 0 anywhere. dialing +66 45 XXXX XXXX (so 12 digits) seems to go somewhere in Thailand but there is an automatic message in Thai (maybe, i do not speak Thai) and in English, saying there is no connection at the moment.

  6. How to Enter Phone numbers in a cell to call back to US ...

    www.tripadvisor.com/ShowTopic-g293915-i3686-k...

I want to know how I should enter a US and Thailand phone number in the phone ahead of time. For example say I want to call my home back in US with a made up number of 715-555-1212. Would I enter that as 001-1-715-555-1212. Cause the 001 is for US' international code or would it be something else?

  7. Making a telephone call from a US cell phone - Phuket Forum

So in Thailand you would dial "+" or 001, then country code (1 for the US) + area code and number. NOT 011! I'm sure AT&T is mistaken! For a Thai call you would just dial the number with the "0" prefix. (I'm not sure but I don't think international roaming customers can use the 007, 008, 009 access codes to get cut-rate international calls.)

Re: Calling bank 1-800 number. 5 years ago. You dial +1800-etc on a mobile phone and pay full rate. To call with your phone + local SIM, using one of the discounted access codes (AIS's 003 as an example) is simply 0031800-etc. Forget the 011 stuff you use in Canada, this is Thailand.
